White Stripes & Inspirations

Sorry I haven't done a 'proper' outfit post for a little while. Been a busy bee what with new school term for my daughter, other half being off work for a few days and well just a bit of laziness on my part really. Well, that part isn't strictly true. The thing is I decided to go on my wii for the first time in months and realised I have put on a horrendous amount of weight in a very short space of time. I'm not happy about it and I'm going to try and do something about it. I don't have a specific weight or dress size I want to be really - just much healthier than I am now and able to enjoy life and have more energy for my beautiful daughter as quite frankily she deserves to have a healthy mum.

Right, weight rant over....So in my last blog I told you about my New Look dress that I recently purchased. I wore it today and I have to say it is more 'booby' than I realised from the inital try on after buying but I do love it.
Dress -New Look
Leggings - (Joe Browns, Simply Be)
Lace ballet pumps - (New Look 2010)

It comes with a gorgeous coral belt that I think would also go nicely with my New Look swallow tunic.
I have to say I am really pleased with the Inspire Range at New Look lately. It's very current, good quality and completly affordable. I know that I am quite luck living in London and locally I have access to two New Look's that have a fantastic Inspire collection but I know that the clothes can but bought online - only trouble is, they seem to sell out very quickly.

  1. you look luvly dear! ^^d nice to see an outfit post. that dress is really pretty!! ^^d
    and weightschmeight...just be healthy ne!
most important! b^^d have a great day hun! MMxoxo

  2. That belt does indeed go well with the swallow tunic, as I've seen Naomi of Diamonds and Pearls style them in such a fashion! I'm not as blessed up top, so I've found with some New Look Inspire stuff, it gapes a bit at the boob area....I think they're expecting me to have something to fill the tops/dresses!

  3. I love the dress. Actually you can pull off horizontal stripes very well :)

About the weight thing, just keep up with the excersise and like MaMMaMoon said, its all about being healthy. :D

  4. Thank you for the lovely comments ladies. Much appreciated. x

  5. You look lovely!

Nice to see a belt that actually goes with the size sold, I've bought things in the past that have just 1 standard belt for all the sizes they sold, which started at an 8 & ended at 24. Needless to say, the belt didn't fit me when buying the 24!

  6. thanks for taking the time to comment Georgina, it means so much as you have been blogging for a while and have a huge following. By the way, I am loving your new online shop. xXx

  7. Really like this! Can you recommend the best new look to go buy from? In London next week :)

  8. such a great top and BELT!! I have a real hard time finding belts.

  9. Hi Eclectica - well I am in south london so I go local. I go to Colliers Wood or Wandsworth. There should be one on Oxford Street but I haven't been in so long... double check on the website. xXx
